Top marinade tips
- Marinades are great for adding flavour to your meat. You can prepare your own with a mixture of 3 basic parts: 1 part cooking oil, 1 part acid (such as vinegar) and some spices/herbs.
- Use the same amount of oil and vinegar, maybe cup of each. Blend the oil and vinegar together in small quantities they are mixed together
- Then experiment with adding spices such as salt, sugar, garlic, or mustard
- Dont overpower the marinade with spices though, make sure the meats natural flavours and barbecue taste come through
